About Me
I’m a student social worker, training in Kensington
and Chelsea. I’m looking for part time work to support my finances during the year. I have babysat before, as well as working in residential childcare and with care leavers. I also have experience working with newborns and with pregnant mothers.
My Experience
I have worked as a deputy manager in a residential children’s home for a number of years, as well as working with new care leavers and asylum seeking children, for two years. I also have mental health experience working in a CAMHS unit.
I babysat for several small families in Brighton whilst studying, including providing emergency childcare when needed. I have worked with newborns and with pregnant mothers. Currently, I work full-time in my role as a student social worker, but have availability for weekends and evenings, as well as some possibility for early morning drop-offs to school etc.
My Qualifications
Fully first aid trained, also with newborns and infants, including epilepsy training.
I have a number of training qualifications and courses I’ve completed to best support children, which I’m happy to provide further details of. I have worked with children for the best part of 12 years. Also, by the end of the year, I will be a fully qualified social worker, with therapeutic approaches to best support children with their development and emotional wellbeing.
