My Experience

I am a committed, self-driven, and diligent educator who is passionate about promoting the success of young people. I have worked as a teacher for many years, and more recently, I worked as a SEN teacher at a special school for just over five years. I have worked with children between the ages of 6 and 12 with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, PDA, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and dyscalculia, as well as social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. I take delight in coming up with innovative, multisensory approaches to encourage and nurture my students' enthusiasm for learning. I am able to quickly identify areas of strength and weakness in the child's learning and address the gaps to accelerate progress.

My Qualifications

BSc Degree (Honours) (Social Sciences): The Open University 
Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching (5–11 years) with Science Specialism, Worcester University 
MSc Psychology, Birmingham City University

I have also completed a range of CPD courses, including the following (but not limited to):
Safeguarding, Prevent, GDPR, Sensory Processing Levels 2 and 3, Multisensory Learning, Phonics (including RWI), and Boxall Assessments for Social and Emotional Development.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £32.00 per hour

Costs include planning, preparation, resources and worksheets, online content (and in some cases, membership), travel time and expenses, as well as feedback time to the parent or guardian.

£25 for 45 minutes
£32 for 60 minutes

I am happy to work with students in the Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, and Worcestershire areas.
