I am in my final year at Manchester University training to be a Midwife with over two years experience caring for mothers and their newborns. I have had multiple jobs previously in childcare including working with neurodiverse and physically disabled children. I am currently living in Didsbury and do shift work so my availability is flexible.
My Experience
Being in my final year training as a midwife I have had over two years experience caring for mothers and their newborns so I am particularly capable and experienced looking after babies and young children. Working on the postnatal ward and in the community I have had experience looking after children with complex physical and neurological needs and am also trained in adult and infant CPR and first aid.
I have experience caring for neurodiverse and physically disabled children including non verbal children, children who experience seizures, children with autism, diabetes, respiratory and cardiac conditions.
I am fluent in French and English and have experience teaching both French and English in schools to children ages 4-16 including children with learning disabilities.
I also spent two years volunteering in a church looking after the youth group of children aged 1-16 and helped organise and run day trips and activities for the children.
My Qualifications
Alevel French, Biology and Chemistry. To qualify as a registered midwife in September 2024.
My Availability
Due to shift patterns, availability would need to be discussed in person/over phone/over text and can be negotiated to suit you.
