Family feel

We were so blessed to have lucila as our children’s childminder! Our kids adored going to her. She made them feel so at ease and welcome. Always a smile at the door and happy to chat and tell us about their day and find out about the kids night/ weekend. Lucila’s is so personal and her home has such a family feel to it. You know that your kids are looked after as if they were her own. She made home made lunches for them with such variety that I knew my kids would be fed well and their palate broadened. There was always lots for them to do either at home with lots of creative play, learning through topics and interactive games. Or they would go out to playgroups, the library, parks, playgrounds. There was always an adventure to be had.

Lucila really took time to understand our family and the children’s needs, in particular around nap time and matching what we did to ensure continuity.

We would highly recommend her to anyone

Exceptional childcare

Lucila was our sons childminder at a year old when I returned to work from maternity
leave in 2021. All of my fears were eased handing over my happy boy each morning to such a warm and caring professional.
Lucila and her family provided a welcoming home from home environment including; nutritious home cooked meals, educational stimulating activities and that all important nurturing care. We could see our son's development progressing in all areas and some of his first words were even learnt in
Spanish (that he still remembers to this day)
We thank you from the bottom of our heats for making such an impact in our boys early years.

Nanny to two children

Lucila was nanny to my two girls for 3 years, from when my daughters were 3 and 5 years old. We didn’t want her to leave but as the girls got older, we needed her less and couldn’t offer her all the hours she wanted. She had full care of the children during the day, taking my eldest to school and arranging lots of activities for the youngest such as visiting play groups and meeting up with friends for trips out to parks, museums and zoos. She also arranged activities at home such as arts and crafts, baking and role-playing games and she arranged lots of fun-filled activities for the girls during school holidays too. She is a very loving, very fun and caring nanny. She is also an excellent cook and helped my children to eat better as they could be quite fussy eaters when they were that age.

The BEST

Lucila was our full time nanny for almost 2 years, from when I went back to work when our first born was 7 months old to when he started pre-school. She was wonderful, reliable, patient, great cook, flexible, great communication, which made going back a very demanding job a lot less stressful. I never worried about whether my son was happy and cared for. She is also just a lovely easy-going person. I would not hesitate to recommend her.
