I passionately love my career choice and inspiring children. In addition, I love to focus on special needs and particularly neurodiversity.
I am a fully qualified teacher working as a nursery teacher in Wimbledon, with a Bachelor of Education degree (RQF Level 6 / SCQF Level 9 / CQFW Level 6 ).
In 2010, I assisted at an orphanage in Mozambique and volunteered at Golden Hours School, which consolidated my desire to be an integral part of the lives of children.
Recently I had the opportunity to work with non-verbal, autistic children and this was an eye-opening experience for me. I attained knowledge by learning, the basics of Makaton Sign, which was imperative with the Non-verbal and the semi-verbal children I worked with.
I am punctual, hardworking and wholly dedicated to be the best that I can be.
I strongly believe that every learner has the ability to achieve and has the right to be heard. If a learner cannot learn the way we teach, then we should teach the way they learn!
My Experience
I have experience with children from birth to 17 years old, with babysitting, teaching and tutoring.
I have assisted in raising a child from birth and taken a personal interest in furthering his education. I am looking forward to pursuing my career in enriching the lives of children.
From 2019 to date, I have been working 1:1 with learners of all ages who have learning difficulties. I have worked with Neurodiverse, SEN, ADHD, Tourettes Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, EDA and PDA, the Autisms, and dyslexic learners.
