My Experience

I have been immersed in childcare since the age of 16, during which time I have accumulated a diverse array of experiences across various educational and developmental contexts. My initial foray into this field involved babysitting, which provided me with a foundational understanding of child care across a spectrum of ages and developmental needs.

As my journey progressed, I sought out opportunities at half-term and summer camps, where I implemented creative and educational programming to enhance participants' social and cognitive development. These experiences honed my ability to facilitate engaging activities that cater to diverse learning styles.

In addition to camp experiences, I have worked in afterschool clubs, effectively creating a structured yet relaxed environment for children to transition from the academic rigours of the day. My weekends are often dedicated to stage schools. I play a pivotal role in fostering confidence and self-expression in children through the performing arts, thereby supporting their emotional and social growth.

Moreover, my tenure in a nursery setting has deepened my understanding of early childhood development, allowing me to address the specific needs inherent to younger children.
