My Summary
About Me
Hello, dear parents and welcome. I appreciate you taking the time to give me the opportunity to demonstrate how my experience and skills can contribute to the well-being and development of your child and look forward to the possibility of discussing how I can become a supportive extension of your family.
Born from a rich Hispanic heritage, I embrace the cultural vibrance it lends to my caregiving approach. However, what truly sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to fostering a stimulating, inclusive, and joyful learning environment for every child under my care. Transitioning from a role as a Bilingual Teacher and Deputy Nursery Manager, with an Early Years Diploma, to a live-out nanny, I offer a unique educational energy to my caregiving. My bilingual skills (English-Spanish) enable me to provide a bilingual environment, facilitating early language acquisition and fostering broader cultural awareness. With a solid foundation in early years education and a deep enthusiasm for child development, I offer more than mere oversight; I bring a wealth of experience into the nurturing environment of your home. I engage with children on a meaningful level, sparking their imaginations in a warm, secure environment where their curiosity and potential can truly blossom. I invite you to explore my profile further, where my professional journey, qualifications, and availability are detailed, showcasing my commitment to joyful learning and a safe, loving atmosphere for every child in my care.
My Experience
With over 25 years of diverse experience across the education sector, I have been in the early years sector for the last 15 years as a bilingual (English-Spanish) teacher and deputy manager in a community nursery setting with an Early Years Diploma qualification. I am extending my expertise as a live-out nanny and can offer Spanish language tutoring if required.
My extensive early years and childcare experience includes working in primary schools, family homes as a part-time nanny, as well as a deputy manager in an Anglo-Spanish nursery setting.
I am passionate and dedicated to early years provision and safeguarding to support children between 6 months to 5 years old. My certifications are well-aligned with current UK childcare standards, include paediatric first aid, safeguarding, and an enhanced DBS from my last employer, forging a professional and secure realm of care for the children entrusted to me.
My extensive experience and understanding of the standards also support parents with transitioning their child from early years to the primary sector.
Given my education-focused background, I am also committed to continuous learning, staying updated on childcare best practices through professional development, and I am proud to provide excellent references from past employers upon request.

Diana has provided our son with excellent care and the strength of relationship they have built is testament to that. Dian has been thoughtful in attending to our son's emotional and development needs, creating a caring and stimulating environment for him at all times. Diana's wealth of experience was very evident, with her going above and beyond to support us with potty training, diet, first aid and general heath of our son. This has been very reassuring and we've learned a lot as a family from Diana. Diana gave comprehensive updates on our son during the day, telling us the ways in which she was scaffolding on his abilities and supporting him to learn through fun, play and curiosity. I highly recommend this skilled, experienced and professional nanny, who truly cares about the children and families she works with.
