About Me
I am currently working as a Deputy and Business Manager role in a private nursery, also having a mentor role for our pre-school age group. I have been working with young children for the past 32 years. I am married with 2 adult children. I started off my journey as a nanny abroad . My approach to teaching is to provide fun and engaging lessons that make children feel confident as well as keeping them interested, motivated and engaged. plan lessons according to each individual child, assessing the child's all-round development, identifying areas of need.

My Experience
On my return to the Uk I completed my training as a level 3 Early years practitioner whilst running a local pre-school. I furthered my experience by joining a team in a local primary school who provided a designated special provision for children with special needs attached to the main school. At this time I supported children with specific needs enabling them to integrate into main stream(yr1-yr6)during the afternoon session. I then moved to Reception as an HLTA, delivering all areas of the curriculum including phonic sessions. At this time I planned and delivered lessons for the yr 1& 2 classes covering the class teachers PPA time. My role was also to plan and deliver PPA time for the Reception classes too.
