Hello, i am Jo
I have had the pleasure of working with children for 33 years. This time has given me a lot of experience and understanding of children from birth to teenagers.
For the last 12 years, I have been working as a professional nanny, and i have excellent checkable references.
I have 4 grown-up daughters and a granddaughter and have lots of newborn experience, I am very calm in my nature and have a great understanding of a newborns needs.
I trained as a maternity nurse in 2019 and have been working in this new role for 3 years. I love this new challenge and love being able to offer help to new parents when they bring their baby home. I work 24 hours a day 5/6 days a week for as long as the family needs me. I will establish a good routine and help new parents with my expertise on newborn care, also helping mum recover from birth with post birth care.
I also offer trouble shooting phone or video calls to help sort out any problems or worries you might have. This could be anything from routine, feeding, sleeping, or weaning.

My Experience
As a professional nanny and I have gained 30 years of experience working in all kinds of settings. I have worked as a play group leader, childminder, nursery worker, residential social worker nanny/housekeeper, but mainly as a nanny. I have worked with multiples and have worked for high-profile families and am experienced in proxy parenting. I have 3 years of experience in maternity nursing and have a very good understanding of newborn care.
