About Me
My name is Sarah, I live with my husband Duane and three of our children, Kai, Scarlett & Louie. I returned to childminding in January and set up Sarah’s Home Childcare. I am an Ofsted registered childminder & registered with Lincolnshire Local Authority to deliver Early Years Funding.
We have 2 small dogs, named Lola & Belle and Guinea pigs.
We have a good sized garden and a skate park at the back of our house, which is a great outdoor space. It has a wooden pirate ship, a zip line, swing.
My Experience
Returned to childminding in January 2024.
I have worked as an Ofsted Registered Childminder providing childcare to military families, 2011 to 2014.
Completed my level 3 Diploma in children's and young people's workforce.
Various NHS clinical and non-clinical roles, including CAMHS Crisis.
I have completed my NVQ level 2 & 3 in Care.
Since 2020, I have worked with Teens aged 13 to 19, providing sex education, safeguarding, healthy relationships, online safety. Working in partnership with social care and education to safeguard young people and prevent teenage pregnancy and infections.
While working within mental health, I completed Mental Health First Aid training and awareness courses on topics such as self harm and personality disorder.
Various NHS clinical and non-clinical roles, including CAMHS Crisis.
I have completed my NVQ level 2 & 3 in Care.

My Availability

Possibly space available: January or April 2025 Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday but will not be able to confirm place until I receive written confirmation of leavers.
Waiting list for September 2025 subject to assistant starting or children leaving.
Otherwise 2 x under 3s spaces from September 2026 - only 1 can be under 12mths old, priority will be given to parents needing to access under 2s and 2yr old funding without occurring additional charges.
My home is my setting, however we are not home based all day.
For example during term time:
Mondays we attend Caterpillar Music Newark in Navenby
Tuesdays we sometimes attend Waddington children’s centre 0-5 session
Wednesdays sometimes attend under 5s session RAF Waddington Under 5's
Thursday ARTventurers Lincoln East, Market Rasen and Horncastle in Witham St Hughes
Fridays tend to be a wind down day but occasional attend an activity within the community, this term we are attending Little Beans Baby Classes in Coleby.
I’ve also got membership for Tattershall Farm park, visit Bransby horse rescue, Daisy Mades, hartsholme park, Boutham park, the seaside and national trust venues.
Hourly rate: £6ph when adding additional hours to funded hours.
Which includes all outings, breakfast if required and a healthy snack option such as fruit and yoghurt.
Parents provided a packed lunch and formula/milk.
Plus any essential items such as nappies, wipes, nappy cream, teething gel, sun cream, spare clothing and items needed depending on season.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Funded childcare for eligible children aged 9mths to 2yrs and 2yrs (under 3s funding).
Additional hours £6ph.
When using funded hours, there will be no additional consumable charges for children accessing 9mth to 2yrs and 2yr old funding.
No charge for childminder holidays or closures, Full Fees or Funded Hours forfeited for Parent/Child holidays or sickness.
