About Me
My name is Helen and I am a registered Childminder based in Llanrumney, Cardiff. I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years) and I am registered with the CIW, South East Wales Region (Care Inspectorate Wales).
I live with my two Children, one attends a Welsh Medium high school (born 2007) and the other attends a Welsh Medium primary school (born 2013).
I aim to provide a homely, friendly environment for your child to play, learn and develop. I aim to provide activities to develop your child's seven C's (Confidence, Communication, Coordination, Competence, Cooperation and Creativity). I aim to provide activities and experiences to encourage your child to learn about the world around them and engage in plenty of exercise and learn from everyday experiences.
My service is open to all families and children in the community, my service is open Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.30pm, however I can be very flexible on working hours and I will always try to accommodate you if I can.
I will ensure all the children in my care will receive a sufficient amount of exercise by planning various outdoor activities such as outings my local parks, trips to the farm and museum etc.

City & Guilds Level 3 Childrens Care, Play, Learning & development, Paediatric First Aid (12-hour course), Safeguarding Children including Internet Safety & Child Neglect Awareness, enhanced DBS checks
