About Me

My name is Selin and I have been working in childcare for 5 years and I absolutely love it, watching children grow into their own character, becoming more independent and highering their self-esteem. Working with children has always been my dream from when I was a child myself. I enjoy working with children and see them grow day by day and achieve new things. I have excellent communication skills (both verbally and written) . I have been working with children for a very long time therefore I have great practitioner practice as well as a room leader and I am aware of what to expect, When it comes to abilities, I have the ability to observe a child and set out approaches appropriate for the child, I am able to understand each child’s personal needs and behaviour, I enjoy being fun and creative with the children allowing them to use their imaginations and express themselves. Focusing onto my experiences, I have been working with children for a very long time, I have been planning and carrying out all ranges of different activities both indoors and outdoors allowing the child to express themselves and learn as outdoor play is very important for them. I have experienced being a leadership for the 2 year olds within preschool in the nursery I completed my apprenticeship at, after my course I had this opportunity, ensuring they are developing and learning as well as meeting their next steps. Currently I am a room leader for toddler room (2-3 year olds) and I absolutely love it, it has taught me a lot and I also take my daily responsibilities and role very seriously. Moreover, I am a strong and confident communicator .
