About Me

Hello, my name is Mina, and I am 37 years old. I am an experienced childcare professional with a deep passion for working with children. As both a professional and a mother to a six-year-old son, I bring a unique blend of expertise and personal experience to my role. My journey into the world of childcare began when I became a mother, and since then, I have dedicated myself to nurturing and supporting children’s growth and development.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Translation and spent 10 years working as a hotel receptionist supervisor. However, when my son was born, I discovered a newfound interest in the world of children. This led me to work as a childcare assistant in a nursery for two years in my home country, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience in early years education. Driven by a desire to expand my horizons, I moved to the UK in 2023 to pursue a Master’s degree in International Hospitality and Tourism Management, and while I enjoyed my role as a hotel receptionist at the Hermitage Hotel in Bournemouth for five months, my true passion remained in working with children.

To follow my heart, I completed a DBS check with the update service and undertook training courses in safeguarding, childcare, and teaching assistance. I then began working with Supplytree and Hiring Hive Agency as a childcare and teaching assistant, which allowed me to gain valuable experience across various nurseries and primary schools. During this time, I worked with children of different ages, abilities, and needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN). These experiences helped me develop a deep understanding of children’s diverse preferences and requirements, and I learned how to create tailored environments that support their growth.

As a single mother with a flexible, part-time job, I have availability to provide childcare services during the daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays. I am happy to care for children in my home during evenings, weekends, and holidays, where my son can join us and help entertain and play with the children. My home is a warm, welcoming space filled with toys and resources that encourage creativity, exploration, and fun. I also offer nutritious meals and snacks, as I believe in the importance of healthy eating and physical well-being.

Working with children is not just a job for me; it is a genuine calling. I find immense joy in creating a positive, engaging, and supportive environment where children feel safe, happy, and encouraged to thrive. I incorporate a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, reading, singing, and interactive play, to stimulate their creativity, cognitive development, and emotional growth. I am a firm believer in fostering a child’s sense of wonder and curiosity, and I tailor my approach to suit each child’s unique personality and interests.
