About Me
Hi my name is Kaley and I’m a 34 year old Mum of two boys. Iv have 16 years experience working directly with children and their parents from birth to 6 years. Iv worked in private nurseries achieving a Good Ofsted record. Iv worked my way up to Manager but alway preferred being room based. I’m passionate and patient and respectful to every families routines and beliefs. I love being outdoors and exploring new opportunities with the boys. I’m creative and enjoy using the children’s interests to create fun learning experiences.
My behaviour management type is to prevent unwanted behaviours by giving children choices and options so they feel in control and take responsibility for their actions. Children want to be rewarded and praised and finding their strengths works best.
My Experience
I have child development knowledge from birth to 6 years and also have my own children aged 10 and 6. (Weaning, chocking, feeding, sleeping, potty training)
I have designated safeguarding training, first aid, clear DBS update service, was SEND lead in my managers role. Have knowledge with EHCP, autism, speech and language and EAL.
