Welcome to my profile! My name is Ida-Mae and I am originally from Australia! I am a hard-working, bubbly, calm and kind nanny.
I have a diverse range of childcare experience from my work as a nanny, babysitter and carer, which provides me with a diverse skill set and knowledge base that can be adapted and expanded in my work with children.
I am currently looking to connect with a family who needs extra support at home to work with them to provide wrap-around care to their children. I would love to gain a full-time role, live out, and within a reasonable commute from me. I am based near Victoria Park in East London.
My Experience
Work experience
- Worked as a full-time nanny in Australia and London with private families. The children were aged 3 years, up to 11 years of age. With the Australian family, my primary role was to facilitate morning and after-school into the evening and care for the children. This involved the typical nanny duties of creating fun and stimulating games/after-school activities, play dates, sports and extracurricular commitments, homework, meal preparation, bath time, and bedtime routine. Along with general household duties of ensuring all child-related areas and main common areas are clean and tidy, setting up the children's school supplies, morning routine, and child's laundry.
-Worked as a babysitter for several years with children aged from 7 months. For the babies this involved supervising at all times, playing with and stimulating babies with tummy time, interactive/ sensory toys, and ensuring their needs are being met e.g. changing nappies, bottle and weening, facilitating nap routine, soothing to sleep.
-Worked as a carer for multiple years with young children with complex behaviours and individuals with autism. I have worked as a carer in a team of 24/7 care within a residential home. This involved being in charge of all aspects of the children's care in particular ensuring their health, educational, and physical needs are being met to a high standard.

- DBS Check
- Right to work in the UK.
- Driving Licence.
