I am an experienced mature childcare professional. I offer a flexible, nurturing environment which promotes play based learning. Childcare is my vocation and I have enjoyed many years of working in the field. I am taking up childminding in order to make full use of my training, experience and helping children to reach their full potential while providing a bespoke,loving and unique environment in the heart of my home.
My Experience
I have many years of experience of working in Early years childcare, I began as a childminder when my own children were young, I then moved on to work in a preschool, I have been a baby room leader in a day nursery and have been a childcare advisor with the local authority.
My Qualifications
I have a BA Hons degree in Early years childhood studies

We have moved our 18 month old son to be cared for by Helen and we are extremely impressed and happy with our decision. She is very caring and experienced, and is able to offer a nurturing and homely environment. On top of this she is able to bring in her expertise in activities, nutrition, learning, play after her long tenure of working in nurserys. This has been a fantastic attribute and something we found a lot of other childminders just couldn't offer to this standard when we explored options. We really enjoy taking our son to her house and knowing he is in great hands, we also love the updates and communications she provides, as well as the efforts she has made to understand what works well for us and our expectations.
