My Experience

I have 27+ years experience in childcare. I have worked in many different childcare settings, some but not all include; as a Foster carer, a play worker, a Team leader in children's ministry, a volunteer family support worker, live in nanny.
Throughout my career I have learnt so much about supporting children in their learning journey, whether that be socially, emotionally, physically or any other way. I've learned how to work in a team and support those around me and also independent skills. I have professionally worked with children as young as 19 hours old up to 16 years with varying needs and abilities, often 2-6 children at a time, so large families don't phase me. I am also blessed to have my own two daughters plus an amazing young man who I consider a son and a grandaughter who is 8, so I have lots of experiences and challenges to draw on for many situations. I love children and adore the time I get to spend with them. To watch them grow and nurture them.

My Qualifications

I am NNEB qualified, have my first aid qualification, Safeguarding, confidentiality and health, safety and an up to date DBS.

My Availability

I am available for 5 days across a 7 day week up to 12 hour a day.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)

My nanny rates are for regular a weekly service.
My babysitting rates are for one off or irregular babysitting, usually in an evening.
I prefer to be employed rather than self employed and can explain how this works up one meeting, it's very simple.
