About Me

A well established childminder, ideally situated on the main route between Andover and Newbury. I am committed to providing high quality childcare and lots of fun opportunities for children to learn and develop new skills, in a homely, caring environment. I live at home with my husband and 3 school age children. My home is well set up for children in my care and there is ample space both inside and out for playing and developing. I have a wide range of toys and activities available to the children, including, baby toys, train and farm sets, dolls and prams, books, musical instruments, Lego and contruction toys, puzzles, arts and crafts, swings, slides, water/sand play and mud kitchen. We have woods behind our rural garden, providing lots of adventurous play for older children.

We enjoy trips to the local library, toddler groups including forest school, parks in the local area and Newbury, meeting other childminders, and as an annual pass holder to Marwell Zoo and Finkley Down Farm we visit the animals at the zoo and farm. We have farms on our doorstep and watching the combine harvester is usually a bit hit with the children!

I provide a homely, caring environment where high quality care is given to the children. Having experienced working with childminders, nannies, and day nurseries with my own children, working in partnership with parents and working with each child's needs on an individual basis is crucial in providing the best care to them.

I can provide school drop off/pick up to 2 local primary schools and the local pre-school. Other pre-school runs potentially available.

I am a member of the National Childminding Association, and the local Andover Childminding Association and have my Level 3 Diploma in Early Years.

I have recently become an Early Years Education (EYE) provider and can therefore offer grant funded places to eligible 2 year olds and all 3 and 4 year olds.
