About Me
I am currently doing an online university course in psychology and am hoping to pursue this field of study into childcare. I am moving to the Southampton area at the end of February so I am looking for a part time role to work around my studies as well as build up my experience!
My Experience
I currently work with a non-verbal autistic 8 year old boy. I care for him after school hours, as well as some overnights here and there. I assist him with normal day to day care. As well as getting him out and about, whether that be to the park or for a walk. Therefore I have quite a lot of experience with autism especially non verbal, including introducing makaton to help him communicate. Other than that I have experience babysitting and caring for young children.
My Qualifications
I have my maths and English GCSEs which I got a 4 in maths and two 5s in English lit and lang.
