About Me

I am a motivated and proactive individual who approaches tasks with a sense of humour and teamwork; I enjoy rolling my sleeves up and getting involved, and nannying offers many opportunities to do just that.
I work in boarding within an all-girls independent and boarding environment. My hobbies include a variety of sports and learning new languages.
My interest in languages is associated with having an interest in world history and being a keen linguist, with GCSE and A-level Spanish, Mandarin HSK, as well as studying Italian at university, which sparked my interest in Latin. I have taught EAL since Septemeber to students from a variety of countries including Spain, Russia, Ukraine and Iran. I have been diabetic trained, and administer controlled drugs on a daily basis.
Boarding as a concept is something that I am truly passionate about; I consider myself well rounded in all aspects of boarding life. The solidarity of house staff working as a team in order to create a secure boarding environment in a manner to not only engage children academically, but also to promote their development to reach their potential pastorally and co-curricularly.
In regards to the co-curricular programme, I set up and currently coach the cheerleading squad at school, as well as the Latin club at my previous school that supported one of our students to obtain a King's scholarship at Eton College.
