Mini Meadow Childcare Sandbach
Hello, my name is Cathryn and I am a mum of 3. My oldest boy is 7, my daughter is 4 and starting school in September and my youngest boy is 2. We are an active, busy house! I come from a large family and have been surrounded by children from a young age.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and this is a career change for me having worked in aviation for 20 years, 12 of which was in the skies.
I live in Sandbach on the Abbeyfields development. I have a separate playroom and a large, enclosed rear garden. I live in a safe and quiet corner with no passing cars. I am in a great location within walking distance of Sandbach centre, the library, stay & play groups and local parks and playgrounds. I have a full, clean driving license and my own car and am within easy driving distance to farms, soft play venues, local nature reserves, wildlife parks, zoos and theatres.
Due to my current commitments with my own 3 children and adult:child ratio, I will only be initially offering 3 days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7.30am until 6pm.

I have recently qualified as a childminder and this is a career change for me having worked in aviation for 20 years, 12 of which was in the skies.
I was also a trainer of cabin crew and learning and development is a passion of mine.
I decided to qualify as a childminder as I have always loved children and have a keen interest in their development and learning. I particularly enjoy the EYFS framework and the foundations of phonics, literacy, maths & science and applying learning through play.
I am undertaking additional training in ASD, ADHD and learning & cognition as courses become available. I have already undertaken courses in ASD and safeguarding.
I am Cache Level 3 qualified in home based childcare and Paediatric First Aid qualified (I am also a qualified Medical trainer).

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
My fees are;
Full day (7.30am - 6pm) £50.00
- Includes breakfast, lunch & tea/evening meal
- Excludes nappies, wipes & formula
I am flexible to work bank holidays and charge a £5 supplement on these days on top of the above fees.
Should you work shifts, please make an enquiry as I can be flexible with hours/days.
