About Me
We are a couple living in our own house in St George. Kate works at home most of the time in a part-time but demanding job and Gary works roughly 9-5 in office. Our daughter, Lucy, is about to turn 8, in Aug 2025.
My Requirements
Lucy is a bright, sweet-natured and creative child who loves to learn about the world around her. Lucy loves games, role-playing, animals, nature, construction, exploring and arts & crafts. She is very well-behaved and good natured but has suspected ADHD, a busy mind and sensory issues, which make it hard for her to focus at times.
Lucy loves to learn but she is is well behind her peers academically (partly, but not fully, explained by her August birthday). Despite finishing Year 3 very soon there are still some pre-year 3 targets in reading, writing and maths which she is still yet to attain. For this reason, we are looking for an experienced tutor to help her narrow the gap during the summer.
We have a certain degree of flexibility regarding the timing and frequency of tuition but weekday late afternoons will be easiest to schedule around summer holiday clubs, etc. Depending on progress/costs/etc., we may decide to continue with the tuition into the autumn and beyond.
In addition to all this, we would be particularly delighted to hear from anyone interested in doing occasional babysitting for us.
