My name is Amy, I am originally from Cork, Ireland but have been living in London for over 7 years now. I am incredibly passionate about child development, as evidenced by my professional experience as well as my academic background. Most of my experience is in the early years stage and I am a big believer in the importance of play-based learning.
My Experience
I am a highly qualified childcare/education professional. I have been working in schools for 10 years. Most recently I was the Inclusion Support Assistant at an Outstanding primary school in Camden. Previous to this I was an SEN TA. I also work in local playcentres during school holidays and have held many after school/casual childcare jobs in children's own homes. I have experience with children aged 3 months - 16 years, both sole and shared care. I have been on trips within the UK as well as abroad with families working as their nanny. I have a BA in Pscyhology and an MSc in Educational Neuroscience and have experience working with children with a wide range of support needs. I can provide references upon request.
