About Me
I am a primary school teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and an enhanced DBS on the update service. I have been working with children for coming up to 3 years in Ofsted-rated ‘Oustanding’ schools. I have just finished working at a private preschool for children and babies aged 1-6 years old and am looking for work which is more focused on the individual child. I love caring for little hearts and minds and I can’t see myself doing anything else!

My Experience
I am trained at postgraduate degree level (PGCE) and experienced with primary-school-aged children and babies from 6 months old. My most recent school-based job has involved changing nappies, feeding children and practicing safe sleep, and I have been responsible for teaching my own curriculum with a speciality in Early Years Phonics. I have been teaching in two classes, one with babies and toddlers, and the other with children at Nursery and Reception age. I have previously worked as a full-time Reception teacher and as a supply teacher with children up to 7 years old. Currently, I work as a regular nanny for local families with children aged 6 months to 5 years.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified teacher with up-to-date training in paediatric first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding and safe sleep. I have taken on all of the responsibilities of a childcare professional in my years employed with children.
My Availability
I am available flexibly from February 2-3 days a week, preferably in Grays. Feel free to get in touch!

Laura has been looking after our one-year-old daughter for the past 3 months, and we’ve been really happy with the care she provides. Our daughter enjoys spending time with her, and it's clear they've built a good relationship.
We also appreciate that Laura incorporates learning through play, which has helped our daughter pick up new skills in a fun way. Additionally, she often takes our daughter out for walks and to the playground, which is great for her.
We’re pleased with the care our daughter receives and feel confident she’s in good hands.

Laura has looked after my 2 young boys who are aged 3 and under 1. Laura is kind, proffessional and patient. My boys enjoy spending time with her and Laura makes me feel comfortable and confident leaving my children in her care.

Laura looked after my little boy on a number of occasions and all I can say is she is such a pleasure! My little boy took to her so quickly. She was friendly and patient. She even did activities like phonics and reading during the time she was babysitting. Laura is absolutely amazing.

Laura is an excellent babysitter! She is reliable, attentive, and truly great with kids. My children always feel safe and entertained when Laure is around. She is patient, creative with activities, and communicate well. Highly recommend
