Hi, I’m Amy!
I’m 29 and have a solid background in childcare, with a Level 4 qualification in Montessori education and a Level 3 in early years and childcare. I’m fully DBS checked and trained in lots of areas, like first aid, sensory processing, attachment, and speech and language (Elklan).
Outside of work, I love dancing, arts and crafts, cooking and baking, and getting outdoors. I often bring these into the activities I do with children—it keeps things fun and engaging while helping them learn new skills.
My Experience
I’ve spent the past eight years working in a Montessori nursery, starting out on the floor and eventually moving up into a manager role.
During that time, I worked with little ones as young as 7 months right up to 5 years old, supporting their care, learning, and growth every step of the way.
While I was at the nursery, I also worked part-time as a nanny for two years before deciding to make nannying my full-time career. For the past year, I’ve been a full-time nanny and have loved building strong bonds with the families I’ve worked with.
On top of my nursery experience, I’ve also looked after older children up to 12 years old, which has given me a wider range of childcare experience.

Level 3 in early years and childcare.
First Aid.
Elklan speech and language.
