About Me
I’m 19 years old and can provide care and assistance to children of any age in the Folkestone area. I’m passionate about childcare and aspire to be a teacher in a primary school. I work well with kids, having two younger sisters and many young cousins who i’ve provided care for before. I’m responsible, respectful and kind, attributes I believe are essential of a babysitter or nanny. I would relish the opportunity to work with and for a family and their children.
My Experience
I have experience in the care sector, as a healthcare assistant to the elderly and a kitchen assistant of three and a half years in a care home. And while this isn’t the same age group I believe the qualities needed in this role are very similar. For example: the caring aspect, I have a sincere passion for ‘looking after’ people, catering to their needs and ensuring things like safety as well as general well-being. In addition to this, I like to make sure that my presence and work makes a genuine positive impact on a persons life. I have babysat my younger cousins before, ranging from the ages of 8-12. However I have been surrounded by children of all ages my whole life, due to my large family.
My Qualifications
I achieved 11 GCSE’s ranging from grades 7-9 which are equivalent to the old grading system of A-A*. I also have three A levels i attained at the Folkestone School For girls, in Psychology, Sociology and Geography. I achieved AAB in these exams. I am on way to completing my Care Certificate also.
My Availability
My availability is limited to areas in Folkestone as this is where I am living currently. Time/shift wise I am available as shown below.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Travel fees. Although as I am living in Folkestone this will be limited to bus fares which currently cost £2 per trip.
