About Me
I am a calm, confident and compassionate nanny/maternity nanny/night nanny with a career in childcare over 30 years.
The varying roles I have had allow me to pull on many different experiences, to provide a bespoke nannying service. I work well in teams and my ‘can do’ attitude means I work well under my own initiative. I am nurturing, enthusiastic and have a positive and encouraging manner. From my various roles with children , I have honed my patience, resourcefulness and ability to adapt.
I believe that good manners, respect and learning to be responsible are core foundations for building successful adult lives; and can be achieved through routines and structured activities which create fun and varied learning environments. Always influenced by the child’s enjoyment, interests and inquisitive mind, I naturally include early years learning into our day and follow spontaneous learning opportunities as they occur. I have worked in both shared and sole charge positions, happy to follow the wishes of the parents, but offering my professional advice where needed; or requested.

At the moment I am looking for work on an ad hoc basis and emergency cover rather than full time or permanent basis.
