About Me
I am a 21 year old university graduate, living in Chichester. I enjoy working with children, providing safe spaces for them to play, learn and grow, and have experience in various settings including school, tutoring and summer camps. I am currently completing my PGCE in Secondary English teaching.
My Experience
After finishing my degree I worked as a teaching assistant in various primary schools in the local area. Whilst at university, I worked for 8 months as a remote English and Maths Tutor for children aged 6-16, working with various abilities and additional needs, including autism and ADHD. I also work seasonally as a Senior Staff Member/ Group Leader at day camp for children in the holidays - running sports, drama and craft activities, as well as being the go-to adult for a designated group of children, helping them with any needs they may have. I have vast experience working with children in a wide variety of settings.
My Qualifications
I have an undergraduate degree in English Literature, and am working towards a PGCE in Secondary English to be completed by July 25. I have a paediatric first aid qualification, as well as an enhanced DBS check.
My Availability
I am available all evenings and occasional weekends, as well as some school holiday availability. I am looking for ad hoc work to fit around my training.
