I have been childminding since 2006 and live with my husband and 2 grown up children
My husband Sedrick is my assistant who was previously a fully registered ‘outstanding graded childminder’

I am committed to the welfare and development of all children in my care and ensure a safe, friendly and stimulating setting; a home-from-home environment as an extension from their own home surroundings.
Play activities (that have been carefully planned using the EYFS curriculum) are used to promote and encourage each child's learning according to their age and stage in their development.

Three-time Ofsted Outstanding childminder since November 2006.
(Graded Outstanding 2009, 2016 and 2019)

My Fees

I charge a daily fee of £80 per day = (£8.42) ph

After a combined year of maternity leave and covid lockdown, we felt our 1 year old was more than ready to start socialising. We chose Usha and Sedrick as when we left them after the initial visit, we immediately knew it was the right place for our son. I was very nervous about putting my son in childcare and Usha was very understanding. He’s started off demure and clingy and has completely absolutely blossomed in their care. He’s learned to be around other toddlers, try new foods and learned to walk - always coming home a happy little boy. As our jobs have taken us to another part of London we’re very sad to have to move on. It has only been a few months but I will always be thankful for their brilliant care and 100% recommend them to anyone who is looking for kind, warm, experienced childminders in the Sanderstead area.

My middle boy stayed with Usha and Sedrick from 1 years old until he left to start pre-school at 3. They were absolutely brilliant. They have created a professional, safe and loving environment for the kids they look after - taking them out to a different playgroup every morning and supporting my boy to become a cheeky, secure and well rounded little boy. For him, their place was a home from home. He still talks about them - we were very sad to move him on.

Usha and her husband Sedrick have been amazing, after having a very bad experience with another local childminder we werre very nervous about putting Lillie with another childminder. However after meeting Usha and Sedrick, we instantly felt more comfortable. They were very professional, and honest. Our daughter was a completly different person when leaving her with Usha, compared to previous experience where she would scream her head off!, none of that with Usha.
Usha and Sedrick followed through with everything they said they would, they updated the dairy daily.
There home is fully equipped to look after children, loads of toys to play with.
Our daughter developed so well with them, and her toilet training they supported us with what we felt was right.
Our daughter loves usha and sedrick, and there children, and i know she is going to miss them.
I would most definately recommend them.
