My name is Betsy and I work very well with children of all ages. I believe children are highly intelligent and absorbent people and I have the utmost respect for them, always aiming to maintain an educational and positive environment around them. I am a graduate student in London and hold a degree in English literature, so I am always happy to read and write with kids; I offer tutoring in a number of subjects, particularly reading and writing. I am a musician (flute, Irish whistles, piano, mandolin) and enjoy entertaining children with music, as well as helping and encouraging them to practice their own instruments.
My Experience
I have over ten years of experience as a nanny, tutor, and babysitter for children aged 0-15. In the United States, I had long-term, recurrent nanny and tutoring jobs with several families. I also worked as a tutor for children aged 6-15, and as a dance teacher for children aged 3-10.
My Qualifications
I have first aid training. I have strong references of my abilities in childcare.
My Availability
I am available any weekday evening after 6pm, and all day on Sundays. On Saturdays, I have limited availability.
