Hi, my name is Lauren Heaton; I'm a caring and passionate person with a lot to offer. I love to take an upset child to a happy child and hear them laugh; children really are a blessing. I am currently studying Childhood and Youth and Psychology at Liverpool Hope University as I aspire to be a play therapist when I graduate. I found my passion for working with children in college, where I learned the true nature of the young mind and why they are so important to care for. From my college studies, I've gained a distinction in child care level 3; in the past 2 years, I have gained qualifications in food hygiene and paediatric first aid.
My Experience
My passion for working with children grew when I worked in a nursery for a year; this is where I learnt, that every child is an individual with all different wants and needs. One of the things i love most about the job was discovering each child strength and talents and nurturing those traits through my educational appraoch.
