Baby Room for ages 3-18 months and Toddler Room for ages 18 months to 2.5 years
The Gower School is a fast-paced, Montessori nursery in North London that consistently receives top inspection ratings, including outstanding and excellent in every area by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in their 2023 report
Maintain a high quality of care for each individual child in the room (currently focused on toddlers), catering to all developmental needs. Also responsible as ‘key’ carer for several children during each term, building stronger bonds and being point person for their parents
Complete observations on each child, implement EYFS and document these findings in learning portfolios
Address parents’ feedback and hand over to parents in a professional, fun and interesting way
Support the room leader to ensure the room provides a stimulating environment so the children can thrive, while also planning and delivering my own activities that are fun and beneficial to the children’s development
Set up the room to a good standard for the children at the start of the day, run the daily tasks required for a successful day (including nappy changing, form filling, accident and awareness, serving all meals and putting the children to sleep) and closing down the room at the end of the day for home time
Follow policies and procedures provided in the staff handbook to ensure all the correct safety protocols are being carried out

Takes part in bedtime routine, which involves cooking dinner for 18 month old, bathing both children and putting both to bed.

PART TIME NANNY

Prepare and serve nutritional meals.
Organize fun and educational games, read books that increase the children's interest in story time, and plan outdoor activities after lunch such as walking to the local park & playground.
Perform light housekeeping duties such as washing, cleaning up after lunch and dinner and occasional running errands for the parents
Take child to playgroups such as, sensory, soft play, dance classes etc.

PART-TIME NANNY Harrogate, UK
Cared for two boys (aged three and five), meeting with parents on a weekly basis to discuss plans and organise schedules
Planned the children’s days to include both educational and fun activities, including games to foster engagement and learning, reading books that increased the children's interest in story time, and planning outdoor exploration with outings to the local park and playgrounds

This entails supporting and encouraging children in all age ranges implementing the EYFS, giving structure and routine for each and every child, as well as following and ensuring the health and safety of all children by taking daily risk assessments and checks abnd ensuring a high standard of cleanliness.
