My Experience

I have been working with the same family for the last 9 years on an Adhoc basis. 1 Boy and 1 Girl, one was in my little sister's class at school and because I got on so well with them the parents one day asked if I could look after them for the day and that’s where it all started. They didn’t need a full time Nanny which worked well for me as I was in full time education when we started working together and since then have been pursuing other education and roles. I had already developed a rapport with the children by helping out with events at my sister's school and always ending up playing games and running around with them. My main responsibilities included doing the school run, taking them to any of their after school activities, cooking nutritious meals, planning a day of activities on the weekends and during holidays, and bedtime. I made sure to really engage and develop a trusting relationship so both children felt safe in telling me about their days and any potential issue that they may have experienced.
I have loved working with and being a part of this family, it’s been so wonderful to see the children grow up from being tiny to now approaching their teen years and it’s been such a blessing to have something so meaningful and fulfilling on the side of all of my other pursuits. Now that the children are older there have been offers of me still working with the family in ways other than Nannying but this has shown me that Nannying is something I’d really miss and that I’d like to do full time or more structured part time.

Over the last 4 years I have been working as a Freelance Performer, Nanny, Event Manager and Workshop Facilitator.
This variety of work has seen me travel across the world, work discreetly with A listers and members of the Royal Family and adapting my skill set to best fit each opportunity. As I have been freelance, some roles were longer than others and throughout it all I have maintained the highest level of professionalism and organisation to be sure of a job well done and repeat bookings.

I started this journey working with a charity called ‘Diverse Voices’, we would go into schools and individually lead classes on various social issues - Identifying the issue and sharing how to make a positive decision if ever faced with that scenario. I did this in Primary and Secondary schools, I adapted the workshop slightly to each age set to best facilitate their understanding successfully.

My Qualifications

I have a Mental Health first aid qualification as well as an Enhanced DBS certificate, I have recently moved house and have not located the physical copy but I don't have the photocopy from past jobs.

My Availability

I have just relocated to NW7 and am looking for the right wonderful family to work with.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)

My fees vary depending on the amount of children and the amount of care and cleaning required.
