About Me
I am originally from Greece but I lived all my life in Bulgaria. Both my parents are Greek but still live in Bulgaria. I moved to London in 2022 to complete my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Greenwich. I love staying active and playing sports. I was a football and volleyball club member for 7 years. I also love cooking and cleaning, I believe it's a natural relaxation that makes me feel good.
My Experience
Did an internship for 4 weeks in Valencia as a clinical psychology assistant. I had the opportunity to work with kids aged 3-16 and one adult (age 25) four times a week for 7 hours.
I also reviewed patients' medical histories and applied research on chronic illnesses and disorders diagnosed in children to develop a targeted therapeutic approach. I Administered psychological tests, conducted interviews, and developed therapeutic workshops on emotional intelligence, social skills, and self-esteem, for groups of children and adolescents.
Types of disorders: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) levels 2 &3, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Separation anxiety & social anxiety, Bipolar I Disorder (with manic episodes), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and learning disabilities: dyslexia and dysgraphia.
My Qualifications
I have a first-aid certificate from the Bulgarian Red Cross in 2020. I have also been guaranteed an International Baccalaureate Diploma during my high school journey.
My Availability
I have university on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I can work all day Monday + Friday, as well as weekends if needed. I am also flexible working after 5 on either Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.
