About Me
We are a busy family of 4, myself and my husband and our two children. We have a 12 year old daughter who is at school and boards 2-3 nights a week and a 20 month old son. I have my own business and work from home, and my husband's work varies between at home and travelling. We have 2 dogs and several chickens.
My Requirements
Full-Time Nanny Position near Romsey, Southampton
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced full-time nanny to join our family. The position involves caring for our 20-month-old son and supporting our household with nursery and light housekeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nurturing care for our 20-month-old son, engaging him with stimulating activities to encourage his development.
Prepare fresh, homemade lunches for our son using ingredients from our well-stocked kitchen garden.
Take responsibility for all nursery duties, including but not limited to:
Keeping children's bedrooms clean and tidy.
Changing children's beds.
Cleaning children's en suite.
Managing children's laundry (washing, ironing, folding, and putting away).
Tidying and organising the playroom each evening before leaving.
While there are no school run duties, during school holidays, our 12-year-old daughter will require care.
Outdoor activities are encouraged; our family enjoys spending time in nature, and we would like our children to do so daily.
Requirements:
Must be a confident cook, able to prepare fresh meals using our garden's ingredients.
Must hold a valid driver's license, as we live in a rural location without access to public transport.
Must be comfortable around dogs, as we have two.
A fondness for the outdoors is a plus, as we encourage time spent outside.
The role requires flexibility, and as such, we are looking for a nanny without their own children or other caregiving responsibilities (older, independent teenagers are fine).
While occasional trips to soft play or indoor venues are fine, the primary focus should be on engaging and caring for our children directly.
Can be employed or self-employed, depending on the nanny’s preference.
Details:
Hours: 30-40 hours p/week, Monday to Friday, between 9 am and 5 pm, depending on parents' work schedules. (May be the odd later evening but this is infrequent)
Competitive salary.
If this sounds like the perfect role for you, please get in touch. We look forward to finding a nanny who will become a valued part of our family!
