My Experience
Have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren, taught Sunday school in pre-school dept of my local Methodist church for 15 years, looked after two infants full-time and ran my own guesthouse for 17 years in South Africa. Am British and happy to complete a paediatric first-aid course, experienced and love babies and little children.
My Qualifications
College and many years experience looking after babies and children. My late husband was a GP, I am very reliable and conscientious and loving and would love to work for a family in Edinburgh.
My Availability
Available May 2024, I have been in Australia for the past 6 months helping to take care of three of my own grandchildren, worked most recently in Newport-on-Tay for a family of surgeons looking after their 3 small children, references available from all the families I have worked for.

Honestly, can't believe how lucky we got finding Shona. She is the most peasant, upbeat, and most importantly caring babysitter we've had the pleasure to hire.
A big thing about Shona, is she is genuine, she cares and puts our son AJ first at everything she does with us. She's always ensuring AJ is having fun, fed, changed and always engages us for questions and feedback.
AJ's eyes light up when he see's her and is always giggling, running about and playing with Shona, we feel he's in good, safe hands with her.
Shona is also very friendly and engaging with us the parents too, personally I feel she is part of the family now.

We feel so lucky to have found Shona! She is amazing with our one year old baby boy, Misha, and her warmth and patience shine through in everything she does.
Misha lights up when she comes, and it’s clear she cares for him like her own. They have a lot of fun together.
Shona is reliable, professional, and incredibly loving.
She’s become part of our family, and we can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for an exceptional nanny!
