I have retired from the classroom after 42 years but still enjoy teaching and helping students to progress in my subject. Although retired, I am active helping to support my grandchildren and I still keep contact with education through regular marking for a variety of exam boards. I have a current DBS check.
My Experience
I was a teacher of English for 42 years and was a head of department for much of that time. I have always taught in secondary schools. I have been marking examinations in some form or other since 1985. Currently I mark AQA GCSE English and Cambridge A level. In the past I have marked Spoken Word, Film Studies and Functional Skills.
