About Me
A little bit about me!
I am passionate about early years and how important they are to our young children. I live with my partner who is a HGV driver and I have a young daughter of my own. I have worked with early years for over 10 years now and in that time I have had many different roles, such as, nursery nurse, a room leader with all ages (babies, toddlers and preschool) leading me into being a deputy manager of a day nursery, before taking my step into being a childminder! I enjoy making a difference to a child’s life as well as guiding and supporting children in their development watching them achieve and develop their own personality and character. Children learn through play therefore everything I do always has the child’s interest at heart. I create a home from home environment, where children can feel at home in my environment. I have a play area where the fun will take place and an outdoor environment for children to explore.
My Experience
I have over 10 years experience with working in early years with varies age ranges babies, toddlers and preschool, I started as a nursery nurse, to then being promoted to a room leader and then onto deputy manager of a day nursery.
Ofsted registered
I hold an update DBS
I am fully insured
Can offer funding from 9 months, 2 year olds and 3&4 year olds
My Qualifications
I have a BA Hons degree in early childhood studies
I have paediatric first aid training
I have food hygiene training
I have a safeguarding children certificate
