I am Damon, 36 years old and born in London ?
I have been working mainly in retail for the last (I'd rather not count?) how many years of my life - as a supervisor, sales assistant, assistant manager, etc. But for what now seems like such a brief period of time - 2 years - I worked in Gambado where I was constantly surrounded by children, playing with them, creating different competitions and games, organising parties and overall just having fun! This is where I got my Activity Leadership Level 2 Qualification and made a lot of friends and connections with parents as well, but unfortunately I couldn't arrange/accept any offers while working there.
I have now decided to turn more and embrace my fun side rather than pursue a career in retail. Through the experiences I have had, both in Gambado and in the retail industry, as well as taking care of some children in my family, I believe spending time and taking care of kids is way more fulfilling and enjoyable experience for both sides!
I am looking for a full-time position with a family, where I can build a relationship with the child/ren and become part of their growth and development while simultaneously being their friend. I am open to babysitting occasionally when needed, but would like to fully commit to one special family!

My Experience
I've worked as a supervisor for a company which specialises in children's soft play and entertainment. Hosting parties, operating rides and interacting with children of varying ages. My speciality was hosting laser tag or nerf parties for children in the higher age groups. My usual duties included;
-Supervising soft play areas and rides
-Cleaning and maintaining equipment
-Interacting with customers and providing information
-Organising and supporting the entertainments team
My Qualifications
Level 2 activity leadership- I was trained on an apprenticeship ran by Fit For Sport.
