My name is Nancy and I am married mum of two, 7 and 15. My daughter currently attends the Minster Junior School. I am based on the Purley Way by 5 ways.
As a full time working family, we have experienced the troubles of not having childcare available for us that caters around our working hours. I understand the importance and demands of your work/educational commitments and am here to ease the pressure by providing reliable and flexible childcare that fits your schedule.
I am committed to providing a nurturing 'home from home' environment where children's strengths, abilities, and interests are celebrated and respected. I believe in following the 'voice of the child,' valuing their perspectives and interests as I guide their learning journey. Using their interests as a springboard, I encourage children to explore new avenues of learning, fostering excitement and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones. It is paramount that the children in my care feel safe, special, and empowered to reach their full potential. I want the children to be excited about learning new things and to feel comfortable stepping outside their comfort zones. Through collaborative play, I facilitate a dynamic learning environment where children not only develop academic skills but also lifelong independent physical, emotional and sociable skills. My approach is designed to empower children to become confident, curious, and resilient learners, fostering a love for learning that extends far beyond their time with me. I am also able to give homework assistance to allow you to enjoy precious time with your child when you get home.
I am offering wrap-around care from September 2024 with drop off and pick up from The Minster Infants and Junior School.
My services include breakfast and after-school care, inset days as well as pre-arranged holiday, ensuring flexibility to accommodate parents' schedules.

My Experience
I have been both employed and self employed over the past 15 years. The last 8 years I have been working on my print on demand business along side working in different school settings. I have experience with new born to secondary school children. My most recent employed post, I was an attendance officer within a secondary school.

I charge for AM/PM session or day rate. I do not charge an hourly rate for childminding.
