About Me

We are a family of four looking for after school care for our 6 year old, Eva, and our 9 year old, Wilfred. Ideally Tuesday or Wednesday from 3pm to 6pm, and Thursday from 3 to 6:30pm. We can, however, be somewhat flexible about times for the right person.

Ideally, you would be able to collect the children from their school in Prestbury and bring them to our house, which is a short walk away, though we can be flexible with school pick-up if that is a problem.

The father, Sean, works from home, so will often be in the house working, but is able to support in case of any issues. He is the only parent at home for much of the week as the mother, Elizabeth, commutes.

Our daughter has a Global Developmental Delay and suspected autism. She is a lovely, charming and affectionate girl, but socially and developmentally delayed by around 2 years. In practice it's like looking after an unusually large and fast moving 4 year old. She is still potty training, and this would need to be discussed before the job started.

We are not especially looking for someone with experience of looking after Special Education Needs children, but good communication will be essential so we can ensure that Eva's needs are being met and that the arrangements work for you.

Eva loves dancing and music as well as swimming. Wilfred is very busy, and has Piano, Trumpet and dance lessons during the week as well as rugby at the weekend.
