About Me
Hi there ! Im a second year student at university in Newcastle studying Interior Design. I live in Balham, and I’m looking for babysitting jobs preferably. I’ve had lots of childcare experience, including nannying young children from ages 4-13, work experience at a primary school and a kids pottery cafe! I currently work for Activ Camps (kids sports camp) during the holidays. I also have a DBS certificate and a level 1 safeguarding certificate. Being young but also responsible, I have good communication skills with children whilst also knowing how to have fun!
My Experience
I’ve had multiple babysitting jobs in the past, looking after children with ages ranging from 6 months to 14 years old. This has included both looking after children for a few hours during the day but mostly babysitting in the evening.
Last year I also worked at a pottery cafe in which i would host small pottery painting parties for kids so I learnt a lot about how to interact with younger children and entertain them.
I’ve also had work experience with children for example, working in a primary school with 6-7 year olds which included helping them with schoolwork.
I currently work as an activity instructor at Activ Camps (around 9 months now), a kids sports camp during the holidays.
My Qualifications
I hold a level 1 safeguarding qualification which is an introduction on how how to keep children safe, and how to report a concern of a child and who to.
My Availability
Due to being at university during the term times - I am much more available during holidays - any day of the week!
