My Summary
About Me
From a very young age I remember wishing my baby dolls were real and wanting so desperately to take them out on adventures!
I am a natural caregiver and I have always been a very nurturing and gentle person. I now have the privilege of supporting real life babies! My inner child is still comes to the surface and adores to play and be creative.
I particularly enjoy outdoor activities and bringing the natural world in and all (most) things messy! Working with children makes my heart so indescribably full! I love to spark imagination within children and it is a beautiful, rewarding experience to support them in developing and to watch them grow.
I have a good level of understanding on how to support children in all developmental areas. However, I am particularly passionate about personal, social and emotional development. I recognise the importance for supporting children to develop a good level of self-esteem, independence and confidence during their early years in hopes of becoming adults who relate to themselves and others in a healthy way as they progress through all stages of life.
I am brilliant at providing a calm and safe environment for children due to my past experience and naturally caring nature.
I am most at peace outdoors and cannot emphasise the benefits for children being outdoors enough!
I have a creative mind and have experience in planning a wide variety of activities for children to indulge in!
My Experience
I have 5 years experience within a nursery setting. During this time I have learnt a lot about how to encourage child development. The majority of my experience has been with 0-2’s however I have an awareness of how to support older children and intend to grow with children and the family.
My Qualifications
I have almost 5 years experience within a nursery setting and I have attained a level 2 and level 3 childcare qualification. Throughout my training I acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in regards to supporting child development yet strive to remain teachable! The majority of my experience i spent based with children aged 0-2 years old. However, my studies covered how to support the developmental needs of children aging up to 7 and I have experience working with children up to 5 years old.
