About Me
I am a 21 year old student soon to be graduating from the University of Exeter. I live in Exeter/ Ivybridge and have plenty of experience looking after children, through organisations such as Girl Guiding UK and Summer Camp leadership and through babysitting for family and friends. I am an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is always aiming to be pro-active and engaged in any service I provide. I hope to offer quality care that will alleviate some stress, and provide a positive and caring environment for children and guardians in need of some extra help.
My Experience
I have babysat for members of my family between the ages of 5 and 12, and I have been a leader for Girl Guiding UK (running fun activities for girls aged 7-11).
I have spent six months working as a counselor for kids with medical and learning disabilities within the past two years. This involved running activities and entertainment services (particularly craft-based), providing personal care assistance and undergoing regular safe-guarding education. I have also received safeguarding training for my job working at a National Trust site.
I am CPR trained (including for infants) and I have an in-date DBS check.
My Qualifications
• Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED training
• Full UK Driving License
Education:
• Studying BA International Relations at the University of Exeter
• A levels (3 A*s)
• GCSES (nine A*s, one A)
• Devonport High School for Girls (secondary education)
