About Me

Hello! I'm Liv - I am an imaginative, calm and attentive person with a creative background. I love music (listening and making) and walking around London, constantly discovering new things and places in the city. I recently finished an MA in Visual Anthropology. I'd love to carry on working with children while also pursuing creative projects in music and film.

My Experience

I have 2 years of experience working in childcare, as well as a lifetime of experience spending time with and being responsible for much younger siblings (my youngest are 2 and 5!) I have worked in early years settings with a range of children from 0-5 years old - this has included experience creating and facilitating creative workshops with the children, especially oriented around music. Before this, I regularly looked after and provided babysitting for a range of families with children ranging from 3-10 years old.

My Qualifications

I hold a Distinction in MA Visual Anthropology and a First Class degree in BA Media, Communications and Cultural Studies. I have experience in childcare but no formal qualifications in the field. I have an interest in childhood pedagogies (particularly the Montessori method) and have researched the anthropology of childhood in my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
