About Me

Hello, my name is Nadiya, and I am 29 years old. I originally hail from Ukraine but was raised in New York City. I completed all my education in NYC and graduated from Brooklyn College in 2019 with a degree in Business Administration. For the past five years since 2019, I have been living in Bangkok, where I have been working as an Early Years teacher for children aged 1-4. Additionally, I have been involved in after-school programs, conducting clubs such as STEM, Arts, Drama, and Fine and Gross Motor play.
For my first three years as a teacher, I worked with children aged 3-4 in class sizes ranging from 15-18 students, alongside a teacher assistant. Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in lesson planning and creating activities designed to be engaging and enjoyable for all my students. I have exclusively worked in international schools, which has exposed me to a variety of cultural diversity and backgrounds. I have made it a priority to use this knowledge to better understand my students and approach them on their own level, ensuring a more effective and meaningful educational experience.
My desire to move to Europe stems from my passion for continuing the meaningful work I have been doing in Thailand for the past five years, albeit in a different capacity as a nanny. I am also an animal lover and have experience caring for cats and dogs. Therefore, if your family has pets, I would be delighted to assist with their care as well. Given that I will be relocating with my two cats, I would prefer to be a live-out nanny. While I currently do not drive, I am open to learning.
I believe I am well-suited to be an Au Pair & Nanny because of my kind, caring, funny, and energetic nature. Over the past two years, I have gained valuable experience working with children aged 1-2, managing a class of 22 students alongside my team of Teacher Assistants and nannies. This experience has exposed me to diverse cultural backgrounds, making me adaptable and culturally sensitive.
I am keen on becoming an Au Pair & Nanny as I wish to utilise the knowledge and skills I have acquired over the past five years to support a family in need. I am confident that my experience will add value to your home and contribute positively to your child/children's early stages of life. I am passionate about painting, drawing, and engaging in crafts. In addition to these creative pursuits, I enjoy reading, taking on DIY projects, and staying active.
