About Me
My name is Briony and I am a 30-year-old qualified and nurturing primary teacher available to tutor at your home and online. I understand how the pressure of COVID lockdown and the current curriculum can impact a child's confidence in their learning.
I use a nurturing approach to build a child's confidence across any primary subject of your choice.
I plan lessons to fit each child's age, ability and style to ensure maximum understanding and retention of topics. Each child is different and requires a personalised approach.
I can pitch lessons to stretch a child to their full potential or to support and build confidence.
My Experience
I have 7 + years of classroom experience across a range of primary year groups and settings and 2 years face-to-face tuition experience spanning Reception - Year 7.
I have particular experience in Year 2 & 6 SATS preparation, 11+ preparation, SEND support and an extensive knowledge of the subject matter for each year group across Primary.
Available to tutor any age within Primary and any subject. I hold a current DBS check as well and have completed multiple Safeguarding and Prevent training courses.
I have a nurturing and caring approach to teaching, to set children at ease, build confidence and support understanding. I look forward to hearing from you!
