About Me
I am a fully qualified teacher and have made the decision to childmind so I can spend more time with my own children (their ages are 1, 10, 13). I enjoy being outdoors, travelling and exploring nature. My other hobbies are arts and crafts and reading.
My Experience
I have extensive experience working with children. I was a maths teacher for over 13 years in secondary schools. I have also tutored maths and English for over 20 years. I have plenty experience working with SEN children with many different needs. In addition to my teaching experience, I come from a large family and have always looked after young children and babies (helping my Mum from the age of 6). Over the last 20+ years I have often looked after my nieces and nephews from babies through to teenagers. While I was training to be a teacher I worked as a nanny for a few families in London, this included doing the school run, feeding and entertaining the children until their parents got home.

A-Levels in Sociology and Theology
Foundation Degree in IT
BSc Mathematics
PGCE Maths Secondary Education
Paediatric First Aid
Safeguarding with Children Level 3
Food and Hygiene

I have spaces available from January 2025.
I am available Monday to Friday from 7:30am - 5:30pm.

As soon as our 2year old met Kim she was immediately at ease with her, like she’d known her for years.
Kim was calm, friendly and provided the perfect care for our daughter.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to employ her and would definitely use her again.
