My Requirements

We’re looking for a nanny housekeeper. Our existing nanny (who we will miss terribly!) is heading back to Finland and we need to find a replacement sometime in May.

Main job is to help with our two boys, 2 and 5 years old respectively but ideally also someone who is able to help take care of the house incl cleaning, washing and ironing (albeit we would like to hear from candidates who would only be available for childcare). We're based in NW1, Camden.

Our 5 year old is at school Monday through Friday and has after school activities most days we will need helping to take him to/from.

We will need help with our 2 year old all day Monday (park time, museums, arts and craft, other). Tuesday through Friday he is at nursery.

Broad tasks to include:
• Picking the children from nursery or school
• Preparation of meals
• Homework assistance
• Educational activities
• Arranging play-dates and social schedules
• Planning children’s extracurricular activities
• Keeping the boys engaged whilst we’re not around
• Getting them washed and ready for bed
• Helping during half-term and school holiday
- keeping the house tidy, clothes washed and ironed

We think the hours will be c 8am to 19.30 on a Monday, then from 1500 until 1930 Tuesday through Friday as well as an additional c 10h per week to do the housework but these hours can be flexible. We have the need for further hours one evening per week as well as at weekends but are open to this being the same person providing the after school care or we can find someone else to help with this. The ideal candidate lives close by and is also willing to be flexible on hours (I.e start earlier or stay later, as the parents often have clashing morning/evening calls!) as well as be comfortable to stay over at ours with the children should both of us (the parents) be travelling at the same time.
