About Me
Hi! We're looking for a warm and friendly nanny to care for our playful and curious 1-year-old son when I go back to full time work in January. We also need a few days help in December when I am working part time.
We’re a fun, warm and inclusive family. Recently moved back to west London where we grew up to be a bit closer to family.
***Important note - Our son has a peanut allergy, so we need someone who's extra cautious and vigilant to prevent exposure and minimise risk. We're happy to provide training on using an epipen.
My Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Daily care eg. changing nappies, preparing meals & bottles when needed
- Prepare healthy snacks and meals
- Play games, plan age-appropriate activities to stimulate his curiosity and skills development
- Go on fun outings eg. The local parks/ playgrounds, attend and host playdates
- Run errands (like food shopping for his meals)
- Help with getting ready for bath & bed time before finishing at 6pm
- Keeping his room and play area tidy
- Assist with naps on Fridays
What we're looking for:
- At least 5 years of childcare experience with young children
- Recent DBS check
- First Aid training
- Understanding of food allergies (especially peanuts) and comfortable using an epipen if needed
- A reliable, kind and patient individual who is passionate about caring for children
Current requirements:
- Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 3-6pm. Pick-up from nursery a few minutes walk from our home.
- Friday: 9am-6pm. Based at our home whilst we are working from there.
